Proficiency testing: Aerobic plate count in starch

Abstract

Proficiency testing program: Aerobic plate count in starch for year 2013, there were 140 laboratories participated and all test results were accepted. Sample used in this program was starch which was tested for homogeneity before sending and confirmed stability until the last day that participants were allowed to test. Evaluation of laboratories was conducted by using assigned value derived from robust average of participants calculated by Algorithm A following ISO 13528:2005.  The standard deviation for proficiency assessment,  was set at 0.5 log cfu/g from expert judgments.  Laboratories who have | z | score ≤ 2  are satisfactory, and  2  <  | z |  <  3  are questionable  while those who have  | z |  score   ≥ 3 are outlier. For this program, it was found that laboratories who have   score  ≤ 2  are  92.9  %, those who have  2  <  | z |  <  3  are  5.7  % and  | z | score  ≥ 3  are 1.4.

กิจกรรมการทดสอบความชำนาญ รายการ Aerobic plate count in starch ปี พ.ศ.2556 มีห้องปฏิบัติการที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม 140 ห้องปฏิบัติการ และส่งผลกลับมาทั้งหมด ตัวอย่างที่จัดเตรียมสำหรับกิจกรรมนี้เป็นตัวอย่างแป้งมันสำปะหลัง ซึ่งผ่านการทดสอบความเป็นเนื้อเดียวกันและความเสถียรตลอดช่วงระยะเวลาที่กำหนดให้ห้องปฏิบัติการทำการทดสอบการประเมินสมรรถนะของห้องปฏิบัติการ คณะผู้ดำเนินงานเลือกใช้ค่ากำหนด (assigned value) ที่ได้ จากค่าเฉลี่ยโรบัสต์ (robust average, ) ของห้องปฏิบัติการที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม คำนวณโดยวิธี Algorithm A ตามมาตรฐาน ISO 13528 : 2005 และเลือกใช้ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานของการประเมิน การทดสอบความชำนาญ (standard deviation for proficiency assessment, ) ได้กำหนดไว้ที่ 0.5 log cfu/g เกณฑ์ในการประเมินกำหนดให้ห้องปฏิบัติการที่มีค่า | z | score ≤ 2 เป็นห้องปฏิบัติการที่มีผลการทดสอบเป็นที่น่าพอใจ และที่มีค่า | z | score≥ 3 เป็นห้องปฏิบัติการที่มีผลการทดสอบไม่เป็นที่น่าพอใจหรือจัดเป็น outlier ผลการประเมินสมรรถนะห้องปฏิบัติการที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมรายการ Aerobic plate count in starch พบว่าห้องปฏิบัติการส่วนใหญ่ได้ผลเป็นที่น่าพอใจคือมีค่า | z | score ≤ 2 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 92.9 ได้ผลเป็นที่น่าสงสัยคือมีค่า 2 < | z | < 3 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 5.7 ส่วนห้องปฏิบัติการที่ได้ผลไม่เป็นที่น่าพอใจคือมีค่า | z | score ≥ 3 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 1.4
